A participação dos nossos integrantes em pesquisa clínica é estimulada como fudamental para a boa prática oncológica. Expressivas quantidades de recursos e de tempo são investidas na implantação e manutenção desta cultura organizacional. Por isto, o InORP possui um centro de pesquisa clínica consolidado. Atualmente participa dos seguintes protocolos de estudos:

1. BEAT: First-line Bevacizumab and Chemotherapy im Metastatic Cancer of the Colon or Rectum First BEAT (Bevacizumab Expanded Acess Trial).

2. BEAT BRASIL: First-line Bevacizumab and Chemotherapy im Metastatic Cancer of the Colon or Rectum First BEAT (Bevacizumab Expanded Acess Trial). Extensão do estudo BEAT (item 1).

3. TRUST: Tarceva Expanded Acess Program. Lung Cancer.

4. SAIL: Open-label study of bevacizumab (AVASTIN) in combination with platinum-containing chemotherapy as first-line treatment of patients with advanced or recurrent non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer.

5. ATHENA: Open-label study of bevacizumab (AVASTIN) plus taxane monotherapy or in combination for the first-line treatment of patients with locally recurrent or metastatic breast cancer.
